I do love a bit of baking – it’s my go-to de-stress activity, which probably goes some way to explaining my waistline.
Christmas is a stressful time, so I’m always on the lookout for things that are going to make my to-do list of baking jobs quicker and easier. That’s why I jumped at the chance to try out Vremi‘s fab silicone baking cups and their food Slicer.
Before I even get to the products themselves, I have to comment on the genius packaging! There’s so many funny little quirks! From the Slicer being called “Slice Slice Baby”, to the cases being “Totally Baked”, these are definitely boxes you’ll keep to store the goods in – they’re far too good to throw out!
Vremi Apple Slicer
The Slicer comes with 3 different attachments, all of which fit into the ergonomic handle – I’ve had apple slicers like these before, but they’ve always felt flimsy or difficult to hold, but this one is really sturdy and easy to use. It cores and slices the apple perfectly, and quickly, which is handy when you’ve a 3 year old begging you for food (and they’ve actually said yes to fruit!) The other attachments can be used for dicing onions, slicing potatoes into chips or cutting cubes of cheese, and one is especially great for mangoes.
Vremi NonStick Baking Cups
Any excuse to bake is fine with me, so getting to test out the means my house smells like cake! These are great – they’re nice thick silicon, compared to others I have in my baking cupboard so they really held their shape in the oven. Nothing stuck to them either! But even if it had, they’re dishwasher proof, which automatically makes them my new favourite cupcake cases. It’s also a set of 24, so there’s no worries about having to do your baking in batches!
