30th Birthday Wishlist

This June sees me reaching the dreaded big three oh. 30. Officially out of my 20s and heading steadfastly towards a lot of bigger birthdays. Rather than mope, I’m going to make a wish list of all the lovely things I could potentially beg for get as presents for this epic birthday…

main image1. UrbanDecay Naked Smoky Palette

Until recently I really wasn’t one for make up, but over the past few months I’ve discovered a foundation that works, some really nice brushes and an eye shadow palette that is almost perfect. This one here is exactly what I’m after, my inner goth loves the smoky look and I know by reputation and experience that Urban Decay is a brilliant brand.

2. Filofax Malden A5

I am a stationery addict. Especially when it comes to organisers and planners. While I’m loving my Organised Mum planner and zip up case, Filofaxes are the granddaddy and this beauty here is my planner DREAM. Fill it with loads of Kikki-K and HEMA goodies and I would literally be in HEAVEN.

3. Lightbox A5 Long

I could have so much fun with this! I see them on Instagram all the time, and I have utterly fallen in love with this long version. I genuinely think it would be a fun way to help teach X his letters too.

4. Chubby In the Nude Clinique

Similar to the Urban Decay palette above, I’ve come to realise that Clinique might well be the brand for me when it comes to make up. I recently started using their Anti-Redness foundation which is perfect for my paler-than-pale, rosacea tinged skin and have an overwhelming desire to spend lots more on their range. This looks like it would be great for days where I really don’t fancy having to put on my whole “face” – and they do it in a colour that is actually light enough for me!

5. Selfish Mother : MOTHER Sweatshirt and 6. Winging It Baseball T-Shirt (FMLY shop are constantly updating their items, so these may not be available any more 🙁  )

These not only look awesome, but are for good causes too – the profits from the sweatshirt go to Women for Women International and the t-shirt go to Kids Charity UK. There’s a whole range available, all supporting well deserving charities – head over to the Selfish Mother Shop to see the choice of designs out there!

7. Classic All Star Converse Chucks

Who doesn’t love a good pair of chucks?! It’s been a long time since I had a real pair – I do still have a pair of red high tops but they are rather beaten up now considering I bought them while I was at uni…

So, loving, and loved, family members and friends, if you get stuck around the end of May, beginning of June… *winks*
